The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) is an all-party Standing Committee of the Legislature. It is a non-partisan committee with a primary role to examine the financial administration of public assets and the spending of public funds. The committee mandate includes examining if government departments and Crown agencies are fulfilling their mandates and implementing programs and services effectively and as intended. All reports issued by the Auditor General are tabled in the Legislature by the Speaker and are referred to the Public Accounts Committee.
