Nova Scotia Auditor General, Michael A. Pickup released his October 29, 2019 Financial Report to the House of Assembly. The report provides information on the audit of the March 31, 2019 Consolidated Financial Statements of the Province of Nova Scotia, as well as the results from audits of government organizations. The report also provides highlights on the Province’s financial condition and information about cybersecurity and the use of purchasing cards within Government, as well as updates on the status of prior year observations – fraud risk management, public sector pensions, internal meetings and employee social events expenses.
